Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Morning Warehouse Associate to join the Toronto warehouse team. You will handle, box, sort and label product, while keeping close track of inventory to ensure schedules stay on track and customers are served promptly.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and good communication. The position is on-site in Toronto with mornings shifts, and some weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity and detail orientation are essential.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Weekend availability may be required per shift schedules.
• Experience in fashion or streetwear is a plus.
• Reach forklift certification is an asset for inventory handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive product by matching invoices and inventory records.
• Pick and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
• Label and organize products in the warehouse.
• Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Use the inventory system daily to track stock levels.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.

Shift Availability: MUST be available to work either Monday to Friday (6AM to 2:30PM) or Sunday to Thursday (8:30AM to 5PM)

The Role:

We are looking for a Morning Warehouse Associate to join our Warehouse Team in Toronto! This position is responsible for providing support to warehouse team by handling, boxing, sorting and labeling product. You must have good manual dexterity and be detail oriented. Most importantly, you will be responsible keeping track of and maintaining inventory levels to ensure the schedule is on track and ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receiving product manually by checking if the invoice and physical product sent matches and electronically through our inventory system.
• Picking and shipping orders efficiently and accurately.
• Manually labeling and organizing product in the warehouse.
• Conducting cycle counts of inventory.
• Daily use of our inventory system.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries by hand, as required.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience needed:

• Having open and full-time availability is considered an asset.
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day.
• Flexibility to work weekends as required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in fashion and/or streetwear is considered an asset.
• Reach Forklift certification is considered an asset.
