Job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join an Organic Product distributor!

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing receiving and picking activities, following established processes, and ensuring products are readily available for next-day delivery to our customers.

What you need to know:

• Location: Burnaby, BC on North Fraser Way
• Shift times: Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Wage: $20/hr
• Location is transit accessible
• Steel-toed boots are required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare storage areas for incoming deliveries
• Receive and replenish products
• Pick, palletize, wrap, and label orders accurately for next-day delivery
• Operate warehouse equipment safely
• Perform inventory counts
• Transport goods within the warehouse
• Coordinate with other departments as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Uphold safety measures at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Some warehouse, procurement/receiving, or replenishment experience
• Experience palletizing orders
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 kg
• Ability to work at heights (e.g., ladders)
• Comfortable working in cooler (-2 to -4°C) and freezer (-25°C) environments
• Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
