Warehouse and Formula Assembly Lift-Driver

Description

New Roots Herbal is a leading national manufacturer and distributor of high-quality natural health products based near Montreal, Quebec. Responsibilities

• Prepare pallets with all material for production and manufacturing (bottling, encapsulation)
• Replenish gravity shelves for order picking
• Take out/put back pallets as required for various needs and requests
• Ensure proper storage of pallets and keep the inventory system up to date
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse
• Perform certain checks related to physical and virtual inventory
• Assist the powder assembly department by preparing raw materials to be weighed on carts
• Prepare various pallets of raw materials (powder bags) to be sent to an external firm
• Help with receiving and shipping goods
• Carry out other general warehouse tasks as needed
• Assist our sister company with forklift needs and warehouse organization

• Ability to work at a fast pace in a dynamic environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Have strong attention to detail, organized and versatile
• Ability to operate a Raymond stand-up forklift
• Ability to lift and move loads between 10 and 25 kg (25 and 50 lbs.)
• Good team player

Education

• High school diploma
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a forklift operator
• Any warehouse experience is an asset

Schedule

• Day Shift - Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (40 hours per week)
• Evening Shift - Monday to Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (40 hours per week) - with a premium of $2/hr
• Permanent full-time position.
