The SEED, a program of the Guelph Community Health Centre, is hiring a Warehouse and Delivery Associate to support its food distribution network across Guelph, Wellington and Dufferin. Working from the SEED Community Food Warehouse, you will help receive, prepare, load and deliver food to community organizations, schools and participants.
You will join a small team, operate within safety guidelines, and help maintain inventory, assist volunteers, and drive SEED vehicles on established routes.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Part-Time, Contract
HOURS/WEEK: Up to 21 hours per week
CONTRACT: August 31, 2026 - June 30, 2027

The SEED’s mission: to run programs and social enterprises that increase physical and financial access to nutritious food among people facing food insecurity.
Brief Description: The SEED is a community food project of the Guelph Community Health Centre. About 25% of households in Guelph are food insecure. The SEED’s goal is to change that by offering programs and services while advocating for systemic changes that tackle the root causes of poverty. We are supported by hundreds of amazing community members and by many partner organizations.
About The SEED’s Warehouse and Delivery work: The Warehouse and Delivery Associate plays an important role in The SEED's food distribution network, helping ensure nutritious food reaches community organizations, schools, and households throughout Guelph, Wellington, and Dufferin. Working from The SEED Community Food Warehouse, volunteers support the receiving, preparation, loading, and delivery of food, including grocery orders for Fresh Food Rx participants. By assisting with the safe and efficient movement of food from the warehouse to the community, Warehouse and Delivery Associates help increase food access and strengthen local food security for those who need it most.
