Job summary

Air Inuit Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Agent in Puvirnituq to manage daily warehouse operations, including reception, storage, and shipment of merchandise. You will organize the space, verify loads, and assist with aircraft loading while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires evenings, nights, and weekends availability, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Rotational schedule with travel from Montreal and accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure in a physically challenging environment.
• Hold a valid driving license.
• Available to work evenings, nights and weekends.
• If the position is not filled locally, the candidate will be considered as having no specific base.

Responsibilities

• Organize the warehouse in a functional manner and ensure the proper functioning of the equipment.
• Load preparation and load verifications.
• Assist, when necessary, in the loading and unloading of the aircraft.
• Help prepare all flight documents related to cargo.
• Cargo reception and distribution.
• Operate the forklift.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Warehouse Agent at Air Inuit, you will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations in Puvirnituq. You will play a role in the reception, storage and shipment of merchandise.

COMPENSATION

• Salary and benefits are determined according to company policy.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Rotational position: 15 days on and 13 days off
• Air transport from Montreal as well as accommodation and meals are covered by the company for each rotation.
• The employee will be recognized as not having a designated base.
