Compass Group Canada (Beaver) Ltd. is seeking a Waitstaff member in Toronto to deliver food and beverages with excellent service. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure accurate and timely delivery while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Experience in the food service industry is required. A valid Food Handler Certificate is also required. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks during shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests in the dining room promptly and warmly; take orders and deliver items.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards; follow up on requests.
• Explain menu items and ingredients; advise on food and beverage pairings; accommodate diet notes.
• Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodations.
• Address complaints or issues promptly and relay to supervisor.
• Keep dining area clean and set up before/after service; adhere to sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with staff from other departments during events and functions.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $22. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to dining room guests.

As a Waitstaff, you will be:

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverages in an efficient manner, following established steps of service
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and notes preferences. Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets
• Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly, and special requests are accommodated
• Promptly address complaints or issues, relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor
• Ensure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep the area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards
• Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions

About you:

• You have previous experience in the food services industry
