Job summary

Aramark Canada is hiring a part-time Server at the Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre in Kingston, Ontario. You'll take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

You'll support teamwork, maintain clean service areas, and follow safety and alcohol service policies while providing outstanding guest service during events and everyday operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or in food service is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of food safety principles.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serves food and beverage to guests according to orders.
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and offerings.
• Maintains appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during event.
• Replenishes food and beverage product.
• Adheres to alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking identifications.

• Breaks down and cleans/sanitizes food service areas, workstations, and equipment.
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests and colleagues.

• Ensures security of company assets.

We are hiring part-time wait staff at the Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Center with Aramark Canada.

Job Responsibilities

• Serves food and beverage to guests according to guests orders and/or banquet menu
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and all other offerings
• Maintains appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during event
• Replenishes food and beverage product
• Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking guests? identification
• Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests? needs
• Breaks down and cleans/sanitizes food service areas, workstations, and equipment
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
