Job description

Our client is a FinTech that is one of Canada's fastest growing companies and is looking to hire a Vice President of Treasury. The Vice President of Treasury is a critical role for the company's long-term growth ambitions. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment leading the company's financing and cash flow to support rapid growth, then read on!

The Vice President of Treasury is a new role, reporting to the CFO, and will be instrumental in expanding a securitization program to fuel the company's growth. You will build a best-in-class treasury team and function, with continuous improvements in advance rates and borrowing costs. Launching and building a long-term securitization program, including completing the book's credit rating, prospectus, and investor relations, are key responsibilities.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Managing and expanding the company's existing bank-led warehouse facility
  2. Leading financial planning and analysis related to debt facilities and cash flows
  3. Handling ad hoc projects as assigned

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of financial and treasury experience, including various debt and equity instruments, with a focus on securitization
  2. Accounting designation (CPA), CFA, or MBA is an asset
