Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to own the end-to-end development of quantum node systems in Canada. You will drive architecture, integration, and validation across hardware, software, and chip teams to deliver trusted quantum platforms.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in systems engineering for complex, multidisciplinary products (hardware + software + integration).
• Strong background in requirements definition, system architecture, integration, and validation.
• Experience establishing quality, release, and stage-gating processes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Ability to operate across organizational boundaries with authority, aligning multiple senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to bring structure, clarity, and execution discipline to evolving systems.
• Experience using AI/LLM-assisted workflows and analytics features with an understanding of limitations, validation steps, and data governance.
