Job Description:

As an integral member of the IMAX Management Team, the VP, Supply Chain & Operations is responsible for developing the supply chain strategy for the production and delivery of theatre systems to clients worldwide (90+ countries). The candidate should be an inspiring and influential leader, an excellent negotiator, and possess strong business and financial acumen. This role leads teams across production planning, procurement, quality, manufacturing, repair, warehouse, and logistics. The VP negotiates supplier contracts, ensures on-time delivery, achieves targets for inventory, COGS, and cash flow, and creates contingency plans to mitigate global supply chain risks.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Construct the supply chain operational plan to support IMAX's worldwide installation budget, considering the complexity of theatre system products and logistics challenges.

2. Create and drive initiatives to ensure adequate internal training resources and uninterrupted supply of production materials.

3. Secure long-term supply agreements for key components to guarantee pricing and delivery.

4. Drive cost savings and delivery efficiencies in product manufacturing.

5. Ensure business continuity, succession planning, employee development, and satisfaction.

6. Establish and meet aggressive financial and operational targets.

7. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to bring new products to market.

What we’re looking for:

1. 10-15 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, with 5+ years in management roles.

2. 5-10 years of experience leading multi-level teams and functions.

3. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or related field (engineering is a plus).

4. Supply chain certifications or equivalent experience.

5. Strong business and technical acumen.
