Job Description Overview

As a people manager, you will support the success of your direct reports and the larger team by identifying development opportunities, coaching, and providing feedback. You should know your team members well and share insights with peer managers.

The primary purpose of the Vice President of Sales, SAP Supply Chain Management, is to lead, drive, manage, coach, and develop a team of Solution Sales Executives, and to attain revenue and profitability goals. You will also serve as the escalation point for Solution Sales activities.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Participate in recruiting, performance management, training, and coaching of Solution Sales Executives.
  • Manage the sales pipeline proactively to meet individual and team goals, including current quarter and full-year targets.
  • Focus on new and upsell bookings, ensuring renewals and customer adoption.
  • Participate in business review meetings and forecast calls.
  • Provide feedback on team engagement levels.
  • Assess team performance against goals/KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and field sales management on initiatives.
  • Coordinate with field management to develop pipeline, revenue, and demand management strategies.
  • Offer feedback on initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Create networks with COO and Supply Chain executives and communities of Supply Chain Practice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep expertise in Supply Chain business processes, including Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Field Service/Asset Management.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with C-Level executives like COO and SVP of Supply Chain.
  • Experience working with Supply Chain SI and partner ecosystems.
  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales management experience in the supply chain domain.
  • Successful people management experience.
  • Collaborative style with the ability to work in a virtual, networked organization.
Basic Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven track record of growing customer and market share profitably.
  • 2+ years managing enterprise software sales teams.
  • At least 5 years of successful enterprise software sales experience with quota attainment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
