Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced VP of Sales to scale and lead our sales function. You will be responsible for developing and executing a scalable SLG strategy that complements our existing PLG approach. You will define our sales processes, build and lead a high-performing team, and work cross-functionally to drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for a leader with deep SaaS sales expertise who has successfully blended PLG with an enterprise sales motion.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy that integrates SLG with our existing PLG motion.
  2. Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing SaaS sales team focused on mid-market and enterprise customers.
  3. Drive revenue growth, ensuring the sales team delivers $5M+ in annual revenue.
  4. Define and implement scalable sales processes, leveraging data and technology for optimization.
  5. Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine sales approach and messaging.
  6. Establish and optimize key sales metrics.
  7. Work with leadership to align sales initiatives with company goals.
Qualifications
  1. 7+ years of experience in building, scaling, and leading SaaS sales teams as a VP of Sales or Sales Director.
  2. Proven track record of scaling SaaS sales teams to generate $5M+ in annual revenue.
  3. 5+ years leading SaaS enterprise technology sales teams, preferably in MarTech or SalesTech.
  4. Experience selling SaaS with ARPU of $5,000/month+ and longer sales cycles.
  5. Deep experience in high-velocity, shorter sales cycles within a PLG-driven SaaS company.
  6. Expertise in defining and implementing effective sales strategies.
  7. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  8. Data-driven mindset for sales process optimization.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a bootstrapped SaaS startup.
  • Knowledge of sales solution architecture and enterprise deal closing.
  • Experience building platform partnership programs.
  • Experience transitioning a PLG company into a hybrid PLG + SLG model.
