About the Role

As VP of Sales, Professional Channel, you'll strategically lead sales, account management, and education within the waxing, sugaring, laser, and spa industries. You will create scalable growth strategies, expand distributor relationships, and lead a dynamic team dedicated to growing our professional accounts. Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, and Product teams, you'll position Bushbalm as the essential skincare brand for waxing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth : Develop and implement scalable sales strategies in conjunction with the Sales Manager, optimizing lead generation and accelerating revenue growth.
  • Account Management & Retention : Oversee the strategic direction of Account Management to enhance customer relationships, ensuring consistency and increased reorder rates.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to introduce and oversee growth-oriented programs (adoption, conversion calling, etc) to significantly increase client lifetime value.
  • Recruit, mentor, and strategically develop a high-performing Sales, Account Management, and Education team, providing senior-level guidance and support to the team.
  • Bring to the table strategic playbooks for hiring and bringing in the right Sales, Account Management, and Education talent.
  • Develop structured, repeatable sales processes alongside the Sales Manager to optimize conversion rates and overall team efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Brand teams to strategically evolve educational and training initiatives tailored for professionals.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable, long-term infrastructure for Sales and Account Management pipeline management, ensuring alignment with strategic growth objectives.
  • Define, implement, and monitor scalable, revenue-based key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead generation, sales conversions, account management success, and overall professional channel performance, ensuring clear and effective bonus and incentive structures.
  • Leverage comprehensive data analytics to drive strategic sales decisions, continuously improving outcomes in collaboration with the Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 8–10 years progressive leadership experience in B2B Sales, Account Management, or Channel Leadership within Beauty, Skincare, Spa, or Professional Salon industries.

Demonstrated track record of scaling Professional or B2B channels to $10M+ revenue.

Proven success building and managing distributor relationships and strategic partnerships within beauty.

Experience developing educational programs, certification programs, or structured professional training.

At least 5–7 years in a Director or VP leadership role, mentoring high-performing sales / account management teams.

Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Marketing, Brand, and Product teams.

Proficient with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot), data-driven sales forecasting, pipeline management, and defining measurable sales KPIs.
