Qualifications

Job description

Reporting to the President, the VP Professional Services is responsible for all aspects of the solutions delivery business and manages professional services staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Carries primary accountability for the profitability of the Professional Services Group.
  2. Carries secondary responsibility for achieving all Revenue Goals (New Software, Renewal Software & Services Revenue).
  3. Maintains a strong understanding of the external Business Intelligence market to ensure our solution offerings are based on real and quantifiable market demands.
  4. Ensures that the Professional Services Group is tightly integrated and proactive in participating throughout all aspects of our Selling Process (marketing, sales, pre-sales, implementation, relationship management, etc.).
  5. Handles all administrative duties related to managing staff and departmental budgets.
  6. Actively participates as a member of the Senior Management team.
Skills:
  1. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, proven ability to work with our customers’ senior management levels.
  2. Knowledge of the competitive market.
  3. Proven presentation, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills, and proven ability to communicate our value proposition.
  4. Extensive experience in progressively senior positions within a solution/services delivery environment.
  5. Proven experience implementing effective management processes within complex environments.
  6. Proven multi-tasking, time-management, project management, problem-solving, and team-building skills within complex environments.
  7. 10+ years of progressively increasing managerial responsibility within an environment with technical staff.
  8. Ability to travel regularly.
  9. Bilingualism (English, French) is an asset.
  10. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
