Job summary

Health Sciences North Foundation invites a strategic, executive-level leader to serve as Vice‑President, Finance, Administration & Operations, based in Sudbury with flexibility for some remote work.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, audit, investment management and administrative systems, while partnering with the CEO, Board and hospital leadership to ensure strong financial management, scalable operations and campaign readiness.

Qualifications

• CPA designation in good standing.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership in finance, administration and not-for-profit sectors.
• Experience overseeing audits, financial planning, and investment portfolios.
• Experience supporting Board committees (Finance, Audit, Investment) and governance.
• HR leadership experience in Ontario context.
• Familiarity with CRA charitable compliance and Ontario not-for-profit legislation.
• Experience supporting organizational growth, transformation, or campaign readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of finance, administration and operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, audit, and investment management.
• Governance support for Board and committees; liaison for Finance, Audit & Investment Committee.
• Oversee HR, facilities, and shared services with HSN where applicable; ensure compliance and risk management.
• Manage technology infrastructure and data governance to support fundraising and reporting.
