Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Operations professional to drive advanced security testing, AI-powered validation, and security automation in a hybrid Montreal role. You will collaborate with software, platform, and cloud teams to strengthen application security, while guiding SDLC security practices and incident readiness.

As a VP-level leader, you will oversee manual and automated testing of web, mobile, APIs, and cloud-native systems, including GenAI/LLM-enabled environments,

Qualifications

• Hands-on manual penetration testing across web apps, APIs, mobile, cloud-native and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of application security, threat modeling, secure coding practices, remediation strategies, and testing methodologies.
• Experience testing AI/ML systems, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, AI-powered security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, cloud, and security teams to enhance security posture of apps, APIs, and platforms.
• Lead advanced security testing initiatives including AI-assisted testing and autonomous vulnerability discovery.
• Design and implement AI-powered security automation to improve coverage and remediation workflows.
• Serve as SME in Application Security, AI Security, and Offensive Security across the SDLC.
• Evaluate and optimize automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, API security, IaC, Container, AI testing).
• Perform advanced manual pentesting of Web, API, Mobile, Cloud-Native, GenAI/LLM, and Blockchain/Web3 environments.
