Job summary

Aon in Québec is seeking a Vice President, Account Director – Construction & Infrastructure to lead a portfolio of contractor clients across Canada, delivering bespoke risk management and insurance solutions. You will drive business development, supervise client relationships, and collaborate with Aon’s Montreal team and global network to grow market presence in the construction sector.

This role requires 10+ years in construction risk, bilingual communication, and AMF license; you will shape

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience with construction and infrastructure risk.
• AMF license in commercial insurance.
• French / English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients and partners.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Retain and grow a portfolio of contractor clients in Canada and internationally.
• Understand clients' risk management and insurance needs.
• Collaborate to design strategies to increase Aon's presence in Québec construction sector.
• Identify new target accounts and prepare commercial proposals.
• Build relationships with industry associations, clients, and prospects.
• Work with Montreal office and global network to deliver solutions.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks affecting construction.
• Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
• Represent Aon at industry events to expand network and visibility.
