Political Affairs Program

This is a part-time, unpaid remote program, requiring 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. Participants can work ahead to complete the program faster if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Leading public and political outreach in your state and district.
  • Meeting with members of Congress / Government in your State / District / Constituency.
  • Representing The Borgen Project at various events.
  • Assisting with fundraising campaigns.
  • Mobilizing individuals to contact their representatives on key legislation.
  • Speaking to groups, classes, and organizations.
  • Writing support letters to political leaders, media, and other groups.

Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.

Details

This is an unpaid opportunity, with college credit available. Start dates are flexible, with new programs beginning monthly.
