Political Affairs Program

This is a part-time, unpaid, remote program of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program sooner.

Responsibilities
  • Leading public and political outreach in your state and district.
  • Meeting with members of Congress/Government in your area.
  • Representing The Borgen Project at various events.
  • Assisting with fundraising and creating personal campaigns.
  • Mobilizing individuals to contact government representatives about key legislation.
  • Speaking to groups, classes, and organizations.
  • Writing letters of support to political leaders and media.
Experience

No prior experience is necessary. We seek passionate individuals interested in fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.
