Job Title: Vocational Rehabilitation Service Specialist (VOC RSS)

Location: Remote; Work from Home, Ontario, Western and Atlantic Canada

Salary: $75,200.00 annually

Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS), a national provider for Veterans Affairs Canada, is expanding its Rehabilitation Services and Vocational Assistance Program to support veterans and their families in transitioning to civilian life.

The Vocational RSS is passionate about working with motivated, diverse, and engaged teams. A background in rehabilitation services, along with a vision and purpose, will help maintain quality client service and foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement. As part of a professional team, you will make a difference by helping veterans achieve their employment goals and receive optimal support.

What You’ll Do

1. Be part of a team delivering and coordinating Rehabilitation Services for program participants.
2. Assist in providing participant-centered services leading to successful outcomes efficiently.
3. Establish and meet caseload and performance metrics.
4. Ensure service standards and outcomes meet or exceed requirements.
5. Coordinate assessments, interpret reports, and recommend services to support rehabilitation goals.
6. Coordinate assessments for VAC’s Financial Benefits Programs outside of the Rehabilitation Program.
7. Conduct Vocational Rehabilitation and Vocational Assistance assessments and interventions.

What You Bring

1. At least three years’ experience in medical, psycho-social, and/or vocational rehabilitation services.
2. Experience conducting assessments in these areas.
3. Experience working with individuals facing mental or physical health barriers.
4. Ability to analyze assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
5. Experience working within interdisciplinary health teams.

Preferred Criteria

1. Experience collaborating with employers, community resources, and training institutions.
2. Preference for qualified former CAF members.
