Musicworks Canada is seeking a Part-Time Vocal Instructor to provide private vocal lessons to students of various ages, teaching healthy technique, breathing, pitch, and performance skills. You will adapt lessons to each student’s goals and help prepare for recitals or exams, maintaining a positive and professional learning environment.

The role involves communicating with students, parents, and the Musicworks team, and requires availability for a consistent weekly schedule in the Calgary area.

Position:

Part‑Time Vocal Instructor

Part-time, primarily weekday evenings and/or Saturdays

What You’ll Do:

• Provide private vocal lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Teach healthy vocal technique, breathing, pitch, tone, performance skills, and musicianship
• Adapt lessons to each student’s goals, learning style, and musical interests
• Help students prepare for recitals, performances, auditions, and exams when applicable
• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and our Musicworks team

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has strong vocal and musical skills
• Has previous teaching experience or a strong interest in music education
• Is comfortable teaching children, teens, and adults
• Is patient, dependable, encouraging, and professional
• Can teach a variety of contemporary and/or traditional vocal styles
• Has formal music education or equivalent professional experience
• Is available for a consistent weekly teaching schedule
