Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and qualifying candidates to fill entry-level or intermediate administrative positions for our clients.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Create and advertise job postings on external and internal websites
  2. Conduct extensive searches using both our internal database and online tools to develop a longlist of candidates
  3. Conduct phone screens
  4. Schedule and conduct structured interviews (in person or virtual)
  5. Ensure compliance with labour standards and non-discrimination policies
  6. Assess attributes and skills through various techniques
  7. Prepare summaries of each candidate interviewed, assessing their strengths, weaknesses, interests, and objectives
  8. Create and maintain active talent pools using our ATS
  9. Submit qualified candidates to the Account Manager
  10. Prepare and coach candidates prior to interviews and conduct follow-ups afterward
  11. Follow up with candidates regarding their status with the Account Manager
  12. Perform reference checks
  13. Assist on recruitment projects as needed
  14. Prepare paperwork for criminal and/or credit checks, ensuring data accuracy
  15. Respond to candidates’ questions promptly

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in high-volume recruitment in a VMS environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of using Bullhorn is an asset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required
