Job summary

RONA is seeking a store associate to assemble displays, ensure planograms compliance, and welcome customers. You will help keep shelves stocked and maintain clean, accessible aisles, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

The role runs 6 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for advancement and employee discounts; forklift experience is a plus, and basic tool knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools, drills and saws is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to move heavy objects using appropriate equipment.
• Forklift driving experience is an asset.
• Proficient with basic computer programs and POS systems.
• Basic arithmetic skills for everyday tasks.
• Willingness to work from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle displays according to seasonal changes, merchandise arrivals and stock levels.
• Ensure that merchandise placed on displays complies with planograms and the company's visual presentation standards.
• Ensure that available inventory above the bay is shelved, that all price tags are properly positioned, and that products are brought forward when needed.
• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner and refer them to a member of the in-store team if they need specific advice.
• Ensure cleanliness and convenience, so that products are accessible and customers can move easily through the aisles.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
