Job summary

Lammle's Western Wear in Calgary is seeking a creative Visual Merchandiser to elevate our in-store experience. You will design engaging displays, coordinate promotions, and maintain high visual standards across our stores.

The role requires strong organization, excellent communication, and the ability to train staff on presentation, product flow, and signage. Prior retail or visual merchandising experience is preferred.

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset.
• Visual merchandising experience is considered an asset.
• Creative and detail-oriented with a strong eye for product presentation, styling, and displays.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate product flow and maintain visual merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality visual standards that align with corporate brand guidelines.
• Promotion Set up including marketing, and finessing product for sales.
• Create and maintain impactful window and in-store displays.
• Optimize floor space to drive units while upholding Lammle’s visual standards.
• Support the placement and follow-up of new arrivals.
• Lead on merchandise display and presentation consistent with Lammle’s image.
• Merchandise the store based on promotions or season and store profile as directed.
• Communicate and support company promotions.
• Complete markdowns and transfers accurately and in a timely manner.
• Product knowledge training and coaching to all outfitters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high-quality visual standards that align with corporate brand guidelines.
• Promotion Set up including marketing, and finessing product for sales.
• Create and maintain impactful window and in-store displays.
• Optimize floor space to drive units while upholding Lammle’s visual standards.
• Support the placement and follow-up of new arrivals.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for signage placement and execution.
• Lead on merchandise display and presentation consistent with Lammle’s image
• Merchandise the store based on promotions or season and store profile as directed
• Communicate and support company promotions
• Complete markdowns and transfers accurately and in a timely manner
• Use windows and store fronts effectively
• Product knowledge training and coaching to all outfitters
• Promoting and enhancing our company image
• Support in allover strategy

Customer Service:

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Lammle’s Western Wear products, and effectively translate knowledge to customer through need recognition
• Showcase a positive attitude to both the customer and the tasks assigned
• Strive to reach personal productivity and sales goals
• Be knowledgeable on current promotions and convey offerings to customer
• Ensure each customer receives the Lammle’s Experience
• Lift and distribute merchandise up to 50lbs, refill stock and assist in merchandise display
