Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited based in Vancouver, Canada, seeks a UI/Graphic Designer to translate UX concepts into production-ready UI mockups and visual systems for the EA SPORTS UFC franchise.

You will work with design and art teams to refine graphics, create style guides, and ensure accessibility and localisation readiness for game UI. This full-time role reports to the Art Director in Vancouver.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating strong Graphic Design and UI Design ability.
• 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Design.
• Experience designing for UI in video games.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Familiarity with game development and UI and UX pipelines.
• Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards across digital channels.
• Experience preparing assets for localisation and production.
• UI development experience.
• Collaboration across design, UX, and art teams.

Responsibilities

About the Role

The EA SPORTS UFC franchise delivers fluid and responsive mixed martial arts gameplay to over 20 million players globally. The EA SPORTS UFC team, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is on a mission to become the world's greatest fighting game. This role focuses on translating UX and game design into high-quality UI mockups and visual systems, and reports to the Art Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with UX and game designers to translate their designs into high quality UI mockups.


• Translate briefs into visual systems and production-ready layouts.


• Refine existing graphics for approvals and localisation needs.


• Create and refine style guides containing typography, colours and layout.


• Report to the Art Director.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating strong Graphic Design and UI Design ability.


• 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Design.
