AgMedica Bioscience Inc. is hiring a VIST Operator to join the VIST Processing team in our cannabis production facility. The role emphasizes hands-on operation of specialized processing equipment in a regulated GMP setting.

The position requires mechanical aptitude, precise documentation, and adherence to SOPs and Health Canada requirements. Afternoon shift 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday to Thursday, with $20.00/hour plus $2.00 shift premium.

AgMedica Bioscience Inc. is currently hiring a VIST Operator to join our VIST Processing team within our cannabis production facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on production environment, has strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, and is interested in operating specialized processing equipment within a regulated, GMP-compliant facility.

• Monday to Thursday
• Afternoon shift – 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
• $20.00/hour + $2.00 shift premium

Responsibilities

• Operate VIST processing equipment, including equipment startup, shutdown, and daily production activities
• Set up and monitor equipment to support safe and efficient production
• Work with compressed gas systems, nitrogen tanks, and weighing procedures
• Monitor equipment performance and assist with troubleshooting minor operational or mechanical issues
• Assist with equipment maintenance and minor repairs as required
• Complete accurate production documentation and support completion of Batch Production Records (BPRs)
• Complete required updates in AMPLE and assigned tasks and training in Isolocity
• Complete cleaning and sanitization of equipment and processing areas
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Health Canada requirements, and workplace safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with the VIST Team Lead, Lead Hand, and other team members to support safe and efficient production

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation requirements
• Demonstrated comprehension of mathematics and the English language
• Manufacturing, production, or cannabis processing experience considered an asset
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg/55 lbs on occasion and push/pull equipment or materials
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Ability to work around processing equipment, compressed gases, strong odours, plant material, and cleaning chemicals while wearing required PPE
