Job summary

CBI Home Health is seeking a Visit Nurse to support clients in Caledonia and surrounding communities, delivering compassionate home and clinic care while applying skills in wound care, IV therapy and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check within the past 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within Caledonia/Selkirk and surrounding areas.
• Professional liability insurance.
• 2 Step TB Test completed within the past 12 months.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in French or other languages is an asset.
• Ability to work 3-5 days per week plus every third weekend, with after-hours on-call rotation.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $26.99 – $38.73 per hour.

Vacancy Disclosure: This job posting is for an existing vacancy. We have 1 part-time position that requires commitment of 3 weekdays per week plus a 1 in 3 weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend).

What you will need to be successful

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
• Clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Screen completed within the past 12 months
• Access to a reliable and insured vehicle
• A valid driver’s license and ability/willingness to travel within Caledonia/Serlkirk and surrounding areas
• Professional Liability Insurance
• 2 Step TB Test completed within the past 12 months (or willing to obtain)
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to communicate in French or other languages is considered an asset
• Ability to work 3-5 days per week plus every third weekend, as well as participate in an after-hours on call rotation
