Job summary

CBI Home Health is seeking a Visit Nurse to provide home and community-based care in Caledonia/Selkirk and surrounding areas. The role includes wound care, IV therapy, tube feeding, and medication administration, with a focus on palliative and paediatric care while promoting health teaching.

This part-time position requires 3 weekdays per week plus a 1 in 3 weekend rotation, and offers flexible scheduling. You must be licensed as a nurse in Ontario with a current CPR/First Aid and a willingness

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Screen within the last 12 months.
• Access to a reliable and insured vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and ability/willingness to travel within Caledonia/Serlkirk and surrounding areas.
• Professional Liability Insurance.
• 2 Step TB Test completed within the last 12 months (or willing to obtain).
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in French or other languages is an asset.
• Ability to work 3-5 days per week plus every third weekend, including after-hours on call rotation.

• Apply clinical skills in wound care, IV therapy, tube feeding and medication administration, palliative and paediatric care, and health teaching.
• Maintain person- and family-centered care to guide decision making and support collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Navigate clients and families to resources to help meet goals within the home health care setting.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $26.99 – $38.73 per hour.

Vacancy Disclosure: This job posting is for an existing vacancy. We have 1 part-time position that requires commitment of 3 weekdays per week plus a 1 in 3 weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend).
