Job summary

The University of Alberta is seeking a Virtual Recruitment Specialist to enhance international virtual recruitment communications and attract top international students. The role is hybrid with in-person work primarily at North Campus, Edmonton.

You will develop and implement virtual recruitment strategies, plan events, collaborate with faculties, and refine email flows using platforms like Slate, Goodkind and the Ambassador platform.

Job description

This position has a term length of one year plus one day from the date of hire.

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

The Virtual Recruitment Specialist enhances international virtual recruitment communications in order to increase the number of qualified international students choosing to study at the University of Alberta.

Choosing where to study is a life-changing decision for international students and their families and you will play an important role in helping them choose the right path at the U of A.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the university, you will enhance existing and implement new virtual activities and campaigns targeted at international students throughout the recruitment cycle.

You will play a key role in attracting high achieving international students to study at the U of A and growing our international student numbers.
