This is a 100% remote position with full flexibility to work from home. Teladoc Health Canada has exciting opportunities for Canadian-licensed Family Physicians across primary care, to join a rapidly growing Canadian team of virtual practitioners and help shape the future of healthcare from coast to coast.

The Opportunity

We are looking for Family Physicians (CCFP) to join our clinical team, focusing on building our Atlantic GenMed team. This role involves supporting patients in their communities through our virtual care platforms, managing scheduled and on-demand consultations, and contributing to clinical quality and patient safety, including cultural safety, clinician wellness, and health equity, especially for rural Canadians and underserved populations such as Indigenous communities.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Assess, diagnose, and treat patients via Teladoc Health’s virtual care platforms.
2. Lead scheduled and on-demand consultations.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
4. Participate in team huddles and handovers.
5. Collaborate with medical, nursing, and management teams internally and externally.
6. Support ongoing patient care coordination with virtual and local in-person teams.
7. Foster a relationship-based culture within our care teams.
8. Escalate cases as needed to shift leaders or medical leadership.
9. Support team members across programs as reasonably requested.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 3+ years of comprehensive primary care experience.
2. Current and unrestricted Family Physician registration in an Atlantic Province, in good standing.
3. Board certification under CFPC (CCFP).
4. Fluency in both French and English.
5. Experience working with diverse primary care teams.
6. Experience in digital health is preferred.
7. Strong clinical performance history.
8. Tech-savviness and proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office tools.
