Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Ontario is seeking a guest-focused hospitality professional to join our premium spaces team. You will help craft memorable guest experiences, guide guests through venue spaces, and support VIP events with a hands-on, guest-first approach.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in fast-paced hospitality or concierge environments, experience with reservation systems (SevenRooms a plus), and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in fast-paced hospitality or concierge.
  • VIP hospitality or concierge experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience using a reservation system; SevenRooms familiarity is a plus.
  • Desire to make every guest experience memorable and special.
  • Humility, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-changing environment.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm and inviting environment for all guests.
  • Understand guest needs and recommend spaces to enhance their experience.
  • Assist in nightly sales and execution of VIP spaces.
  • Know venue and event night details to maximize guest experience.
  • Direct guests to various areas of History in a personable and inclusive manner.
  • Execute opening/closing tasks and assist with premium spaces operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, talent and meet n’ greets as needed.
  • Read and assess situations to intercept and assist guests.
  • Use table management systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate guest information to internal stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities


  • Create a warm and inviting environment for all guests

  • Understand guest needs and be able to recommend various spaces throughout the venue to enhance their experience

  • Assist in the nightly sales and execution of VIP spaces

  • Extensive knowledge of venue and event night details to ensure guests experience is maximized

  • Ability to lead and direct guests to various areas of History in a personable and inclusive manner

  • Assist with executing event day operations within premium spaces – guestlist and registration, VIP experiences, handling vendors, talent and meet n’ greets

  • Capability to read and assess situations from afar and be able to intercept and help guests if needed

  • Accurate use and understanding of table management systems

  • Communicate with any internal stakeholders on any need to know information regarding guests

  • Assist with any opening or closing tasks as needed

  • Flexibility to perform other job related duties as required


Skills & Experience


  • 2+ years experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment, VIP hospitality or concierge experience a strong asset

  • Strong preference given to those with a previous sales background in a retail or hospitality environment

  • Experience using a reservation system, familiarity with SevenRooms a strong asset

  • You desire the need to make every guest experience as memorable and special as possible

  • Humble, kind-spirited and reliable with a passionate and confident attitude

  • You’ve found the balance of being respectful and professional whilst being fun and jovial in a work environment

  • Ability to juggle and execute competing priorities while remaining calm and clear

  • You have strong attention to detail and customer service skills

  • You have the ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure

  • You possess a strong work ethic with a high sense of responsibility in an ever changing environment

  • You have the ability to work independently and within a team to juggle multiple prioritized tasks

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

The expected compensation for this position in Ontario is: $20/hr
