Job summary

Saskatoon Academy of Music is seeking passionate violin instructors to join our teaching staff. The position starts in Fall 2026 with August training hours and includes both in-person and a small portion of online teaching via Zoom.

Applicants should have extensive violin credentials. Prior teaching experience is not mandatory but will be considered, and a vulnerable sector criminal record check is required for hire.

Previous teaching experience and/or experience working with children is not mandatory, but will be taken into account.

Specifically, we are seeking an individual who can teach on one or both of Tuesday 4pm - 9pm, and Saturdays 9am - 5pm (or a portion thereof).

This position would begin in Fall of 2026 with some August training hours, and would include teaching in person and a small amount of teaching online (zoom) as we are currently offering both options to our students.
