Job summary

W Farms in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON is hiring for field positions focused on viticulture tasks. You will hoe between rows, weed, collect debris, and assist with planting, irrigation, and securing plants in a physically demanding outdoor setting.

Candidate must be able to work independently, adapt to fast-paced conditions and weather, and have access to own transport as public transit is not available. Employment is seasonal/full-time with parking provided.

Qualifications

• Permanent resident of Canada or valid work permit.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, physically demanding outdoor setting.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas.
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops.
• Tie and secure plants.
