OVERVIEW

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are seeking experienced English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for a global client, a music streaming company offering services such as music streaming and podcasts. The selected candidates will take ownership of incoming work on this account and contribute to the program's success.

Project Details:

• Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote (US or Canada-based)
• Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing
• Estimated work volume: 15 hours/week

MAIN DUTIES

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types include: 'Informational', 'Legal', 'Marketing', 'Product', 'Support'.
• Work with CAT tools, specifically Smartling.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• At least 3 years of experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject areas.
• Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational content translation.
• Familiarity with translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Vietnamese, with native fluency preferred.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, such as character restrictions.
• Ability to effectively communicate the rationale behind transcreation skills.
• Knowledge of UI, customer service, and creative content such as synopses and episodic titles.
