This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
CBC Cape Breton seeks a video journalist to join our team. You are innovative, willing to try new workflows and story treatments that are informative and shareable. You will help our audience understand current events, adapt to the changing media landscape, and focus on engaging younger audiences through video strategy. Working from our Sydney newsroom under the direction of the Cape Breton senior producer, you will collaborate with producers and the Halifax assignment desk to research, produce, and present stories across digital, radio, and TV, ensuring adherence to journalistic standards and reflecting community diversity.
