Job summary

CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking a Producer for Video Distribution, English Services. The role requires coordinating end-to-end distribution of CBC News video to clients worldwide, ensuring high editorial standards and timely delivery.

You will oversee daily inventory, identify strong visuals, coordinate with CBC News Resources and other teams, and ensure accurate metadata and rights clearances while adapting to evolving platforms and audience behavior.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a news environment, with at least two years in video.
• Experience writing, editing and packaging digital content with thumbnails, supers and graphics.
• Experience using CMS like 9CMS, Media Central, iNews to edit and publish.

Responsibilities

• Publish CBC News video to internal and external clients across Europe, USA and Canada.
• Maintain relationships with CBC News teams and media clients.
• Handle requests for raw and packaged content and verify usage rights.
