Job summary

Spirit of Math Schools in Toronto seeks a Vice Principal to lead campus operations and uphold academic and operational excellence. The role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and students, with a focus on maintaining standards and driving growth while aligning with Spirit of Math pedagogy.

The ideal candidate will manage daily operations, mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and occasionally substitute teach.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; math and science preferred.
Bachelor of Education degree is an asset but not mandatory.
Experience leading campus operations and staff performance reviews.
Ability to mentor staff and manage multiple tasks with KPIs.

Responsibilities

Assist the Principal in overseeing daily campus operations and academic functions.
Conduct performance reviews and monitor KPI adherence across staff.
Support student progress monitoring and conduct program suitability interviews.
Deliver lessons weekly and substitute-teach when required.
Supervise, train, and mentor teachers and administrative staff to uphold standards.
Collaborate on recruitment, hiring, and terminations as needed.
Manage HR documentation and lead staff reviews during leadership shifts.
Oversee campus marketing, events, and summer camps to drive growth.
Ensure curriculum alignment with Spirit of Math pedagogy and maintain records.
