Job summary

EQ Bank is seeking a Senior Transformation leader to drive the Personal Banking lending program, including SFR and REM. You will own the end-to-end design, operating model, and modernization agenda across AI, automation, and process redesign in a hybrid, Toronto-based environment.

The role requires deep mortgage knowledge, 12+ years in financial services, and 7+ years leading large-scale transformations. You will partner with risk, tech, and business teams to deliver measurable benefits and

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of progressive financial services experience, incl. mortgage or lending operations.
At least 7 years leading large-scale transformation with business cases and benefits.
Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage origination, underwriting, and servicing.
Working knowledge of lending tech, workflow, decisioning, and cloud platforms.
Executive communication, leadership, change management, and analytical decision-making.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Personal Banking lending transformation roadmap.
Define target operating model, capabilities, and benefits.
Redesign roles, handoffs, and decision points for speed and quality.
Own AI, automation, and modernization agenda from business case through adoption.
Partner with risk, compliance, and technology to meet standards.
