Job Title : Part-Time Vice President, Finance - 2 Days in a week

Schedule : 2 days on-site per week (they have their team meetings on-site every Wednesday)

A strategic and hands-on VP of Finance to join the senior management team on a part-time basis. This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving clarity, strategy, and process improvement.

What You’ll Do :

• Act as a fully integrated member of the leadership team, attending senior management meetings (on-site Wednesdays).
• Analyze and enhance financial and operational processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Review business strategies and assess financial implications.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis (e.g., cost per journal / paper, pricing strategy, forecasting).
• Identify governance, risk, and treasury-related issues and recommend solutions.
• Coach and mentor both finance and cross-functional team members.
• Contribute to process mapping initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.
• Ensure financial compliance and accurate reporting under ASPE.
