Just don’t expect us to hide it when you bring in someone on a first date.
As a General Manager for Duke’s you will be responsible for the following
- Upholding the highest quality standards for food, service and financial management.
- Ensuring training and proper supervision of Team Members and Managers on all restaurant procedures.
- Providing leadership, problem solving and decision making in all areas.
- Building and maintaining a productive partnership with the Chef.
- Understanding and interpreting P&L’s and other financial statements.
- Excellent use of your time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ensuring your enthusiasm, infectious energy and ability spill onto other staff.
- If you’ve had 3-5 years previous restaurant management/supervisory experience in a comparable restaurant environment we’re interested.
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Have ability to manage our restaurants with a high level of attention to detail, hospitality and fun - winning mindset and enthusiastic personality.
- You’ll be managing sales goals, inventory, cash and other stuff that requires good math and analytical skills.
- Previous experience with scheduling, labour and product cost control, inventory.
- Previous experience in developing a team.
- Smart Serve Certification.
- Knowledge of provincial employment legislation.
