Our client, a high-growth manufacturing company in Toronto, is seeking a Vice President, Finance / Head of Finance / Chief Financial Officer with a strategic mindset and proven leadership in financial operations within the manufacturing industry. This role reports to the CEO and involves developing a robust financial and operational environment to drive change and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Lead financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.

Financial Management and Reporting:

• Oversee accounting, finance, forecasting, and reporting functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance and identify improvement areas.

Capital Goods, Material Cost, and Flow:

• Understand financial implications of capital goods and material costs.
• Implement cost control and optimize material flow.
