Our client is a successful company that specializes in the development, construction, and management of luxury residential properties in major cities across Canada.

Position overview

In collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President structures and manages the financial, treasury, and accounting activities of the company and its various entities.

Key responsibilities

1. Collaborate with management teams (construction, sales, marketing, assets, legal, etc.) to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
2. Manage and optimize the insurance portfolio for ongoing projects and stabilized assets.
3. Monitor project budgets, work with project managers to address cost variances, and develop strategies to ensure profitability.
4. Analyze capitalization projects, internal rates of return, and overall profitability.
5. Contribute to the development of budgets and financial forecasts for the group.
6. Prepare reports for financial partners, institutions, bonds, and insurance providers.
7. Support the CEO in various strategic projects.

Candidate profile

This role offers an exciting challenge for a financial management and accounting professional recognized as a servant leader and aspiring to become a CFO within a few years. The ideal candidate is a CPA, bilingual in French and English, with 10-15 years of relevant experience in executive or vice-presidential roles within project-based organizations.
