Job summary

Safeway in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team. You will interact with customers, answer questions about grilling, nutrition, and cuts, and help ensure our display cases show the best quality products.

As a Meat Cutter, you will cut and prepare meat, stock shelves, write orders, and maintain clean, safe work areas while upholding company policies and procedures. Evening and weekend availability is strongly encouraged, and previous retail meat cutting experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Retail meat cutting experience is an asset.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be available to be scheduled on Sundays (Alberta only).

• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
