Veterinary Technician, RVT
Location: Ottawa, ON

Bayview Animal Hospital, located in Ottawa, ON, is looking to welcome a dedicated registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team of veterinary professionals for casual relief schedules.

• Have completed a Veterinary Technician program and are eligible to register in Ontario
• New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy are welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates!
• Surgical preparation, assisting, and patient recovery
• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Problem-solving skills or the ability to ask clarifying questions to find solutions
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and pet parents
• Passion to learn more within the role
• A love for all companion animals!
