Veterinary Technician, RVT

Location: Ottawa, ON

Bayview Animal Hospital, located in Ottawa, ON, is looking to welcome a dedicated registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team of veterinary professionals for casual relief schedules.

• Have completed a Veterinary Technician program and are eligible to register in Ontario.
• New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy are welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates!
• Perform surgical preparation, assist during surgeries, and aid in patient recovery.
• Keep detailed and accurate patient records.
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and support pet parents.
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Problem-solve effectively or ask clarifying questions to find solutions.
• Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills when working with colleagues and pet parents.
• Show a passion to learn more within the role.
• Have a love for all companion animals!
