Veterinary Receptionist / Animal Care Attendant

Location: Hamilton, ON

Kingsway Animal Hospital is currently welcoming a full-time Veterinary Receptionist / Animal Care Attendant to join our team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to support our hospital operations. You will help create a welcoming environment for our clients and their pets.

1. Create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and pet parents.
2. Answer multiline phone systems and manage appointment scheduling effectively.
3. Make outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointments.
4. Respond to and manage email correspondence with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal staff.
5. Admit and discharge pet patients.
6. Handle invoicing, billing, creating estimates, obtaining client confirmation, and processing payments.
7. Maintain cleanliness of the reception area, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
8. Willingness to learn about veterinary services, office procedures, and assist veterinary staff with various tasks.
9. Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality is an asset; love for pets is essential.
