Frontier Animal Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist, Client Care to join our team. You will greet clients and their pets, manage scheduling, invoicing, and serve as the first point of contact for a welcoming hospital experience.

Ideal candidates bring friendly, organized, empathetic customer service, with prior front desk experience in hospitality or veterinary settings considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Organized, motivated and empathetic with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Front desk experience in hospitality or veterinary settings is an asset.
• Willingness to learn more about veterinary services and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
• Respond to and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages
• Proactively booking visits, scheduling follow-ups, and making outbound calls to keep our patient care on track
• Guiding pet owners through the invoicing and billing process with clarity and compassion, confirming estimates, and processing payments
• Proactively booking visits, scheduling follow-ups, and making outbound calls to keep our patient care on track
• General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas
• Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
• Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality is an asset!
