Job summary

Alta Vista Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for its Intensive Care Unit. This full-time role supports hospitalized and emergency patients, performs triage, nursing care, and periodic treatments, and collaborates across departments.

You will assist with diagnostics, measurements, and anesthetic monitoring while providing clear updates to pet parents and maintaining a calm presence in urgent situations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep treatment wards clean, organized, and prepared for incoming cases, assisting teammates across departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities
