Promation in Oakville, Ontario, is seeking a versatile Machinist to work with manual mills and lathes and assist with CNC machining as production demands evolve.

You will read engineering drawings, set up machines, perform first-off inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative shop environment.

Applicants should hold a Licensed General Machinist or Tool & Die Maker certification with at least five years of machining experience and a strong commitment to safety.

Formación

• Licensed General Machinist or Tool & Die Maker (or equivalent apprenticeship).
• Minimum 5 years of machining experience.
• Experience operating conventional manual machines.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to switch between manual and CNC work.

Responsabilidades

• Operate manual lathes and milling machines.
• Set up CNC machining centers as required.
• Manufacture parts from drawings with accuracy.
