Job summary

WinSport is seeking a Venue Maintenance Crew to care for outdoor grounds including the track, ski hill, AIC, and parking areas in Calgary. This seasonal role runs from October 2026 to April 2027 with 30-40 hours per week, demanding reliability and a strong work ethic.

You will perform landscape and turf maintenance, assist in light maintenance tasks, and manage snow removal and safety checks while upholding WinSport’s values and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with landscaping or turf maintenance is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor grounds including track, ski hill, AIC, and parking lots.
• Manage parking lots during high traffic periods.
• Perform landscape, turf, and irrigation maintenance.
• Snow removal, apply gravel and ice melt.
• Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Assist with light maintenance duties as needed.
• Maintain and repair landscape and irrigation areas.
• Follow WinSport safety policies at all times.

What the role is all about: You take great pleasure and pride in developing that great first impression for guests by maintaining outdoor environments. As Venue Maintenance Crew, Park Grounds, you strive to align your work with WinSport’s six core values: Safety, Integrity, Belonging, Collaboration, Inspiration, Sustainability.

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the outside park grounds, including the track, the ski hill, AIC, and parking lots
• Parking lot management during high traffic periods
• Maintain landscape and turf maintenance for all park grounds and venues
• Snow removal, apply gravel and ice melt
• Carry out daily safety and maintenance checks
• Assist in general light maintenance duties
• Maintain and repair landscape, turf, and irrigation areas
• Demonstrate a safe work practice at all times by adhering to all WinSport safety policy and procedures and ensuring one’s own safety is preserved along with the safety of co-workers, direct reports and WinSport guests
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Aged 18+
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
